Dancing In The Dark is the 2nd single from Mirna’s upcoming album “Awake”. The song speaks of excitement mixed with anxiety in a new romantic relationship. The arrangement and instrumentation, featuring the Rothko String Quartet and Paul Santner on ukulele next to the standard quintet comprising of voice, piano, guitar, bass and drums, are dense and chaotic, describing the feeling of helplessness and confusion. The groove sets a feeling of hope and happiness.
